Cooking Instructions:

    Place 1 cup of Cholam Puttu Podi in a mixing bowl. Add a pinch of salt. Sprinkle lukewarm water little by little while mixing with your fingers.

  2. Correct Consistency:
    The mix should be moist and resemble bread crumbs. When pressed, it should hold shape briefly and then crumble—perfect for steaming.

  3. Layer & Steam:
    In a puttu kutti, start with a spoonful of grated coconut, followed by a layer of prepared flour. Repeat layering until full. Steam for 5–7 minutes or until well-cooked.
